Heisenberg's favorite wheat ale lends notes of oats and bright lemony flavor. A healthy dosing of pureed blueberries creates a huge aroma and citrus sweetness to the taste of this one-time per-year beer. One of the few beers that we double dry hopped with Citra and Australian Galaxy hops, which creates citrus, peach, and tropical taste notes.

4.9% ABV | 21 IBU | Trail's Edge Brewing Co. | Frankfort, IL •This English style brown ale is a malt- focused beer, reddish-brown in color, and has a smooth, malty flavor profile with notes of caramel, toffee, nuts, and chocolate; its well balanced by a mild hop presence. We use a special British ale yeast along with East Kent Golding hops for an authentic brown ale experience.

5.8% ABV | 45 IBU | Trail's Edge Brewing Co. | Frankfort, IL • The Grainery is a flagship building to Frankfort, and grains are the heart of beer. So we named it after our flagship IPA. Hopped with centennial mosaic and citra hops, lends a taste and aroma as beautiful as the people of Frankfort.

7.3% ABV | 30 IBU | 18 SRM- Trail's Edge Brewing Co. | Frankfort, IL • Doppel, meaning double, is a stronger version of a German bock beer. It was first brewed by the Paulaner Monks 375 years ago to nurish them during fasting. They called thiers Salvator, meaning savior, and many imitaions carry the "-ator" in their names. With ours, you can expect a strong, dark garnet colored beer with the flavor of alcohol, raisin, chocolate and dark toast. This version has been aged in a Whiskey Acres Bourbon Barrel for 11 months adding hints of wood and bourbon, along with a little cherry! Wow!

From its German roots, to the very trail we run today. Coming in at 4.8% abv this light, extremely crisp blonde ale is the perfect post run treat. Our lightest beer.

A light citrus aroma surrounded by a malty and creamy finish. A dangerously drinkable stout as smooth as Frankfort’s own stone creek.

5.8% ABV | 30 IBU | 12 SRM I Trail's Edge Brewing Co. | Frankfort, IL • Märzen is an amber lager associated with the Oktoberfest bier festival in Munich, Germany. Lager means age, and our Märzen was allowed to lager for 4 weeks prior to kegging. This lends to a smoother profile and more enjoyable beer drinking experience. We use a combination of pilsner malt, Carapils, CaraRED, and Cara Amber to create a smooth and somewhat sweet beer, then add a touch of Hallertau Mittelfruh hops for balance. A perfect fall beer, Prost!

The King is a Dunkelweizen, a dark wheat beer style that originated in Germany. It is, just as smooth as it sounds, a combination of German-style hefeweizen using a generous amount of wheat malt and darker malts such as chocolate and carafa. It offers a combination of the spiciness, banana, and clove characteristics of a hefeweizen with the subtle toastiness and chocolate character of a dark beer.
